Our Philosophy:

At The LIFEhouse Church, we believe that "Christianity is a team sport."

Volunteers

First and foremost, volunteer leaders work in partnership with the staff to lead the church. These volunteer leaders are the backbone of the ministry, working tirelessly and selflessly to impact our community with the message of Jesus Christ. These volunteer leaders exemplify servant leadership.

Elders

Our Elders provide strategic leadership for the congregation. The Board of Elders is comprised of men who possess the qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-7, and Acts 20:28. Their responsibilities include financial oversight, doctrinal integrity, policy matters and overall strategic direction.

Lead Pastor

Our Lead Pastor, Stan Lubeck is a visionary leader. One of his favorite leadership sayings is, "The bigger your dream, the bigger your team." One individual is too insignificant to accomplish something great for God.

Equipping

Our LIFEhouse Intern Ministry is a unique, leadership program designed to develop the next generation of church leaders. We provide hands-on ministry experience in a safe but challenging environment where young leaders can gain valuable experience and explore God's call on their lives.

What We Teach

In response to the Philippian jailer who asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" the Apostles responded, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31)." The obvious question is: Believe what? What is it that one must believe about Jesus to be saved?

Jesus Saves

Jesus came for one purpose, "to seek and to save what was lost." Luke 19:10 NIV
Paul the Apostle stated in Romans 10:9-13, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." NIV

By Grace, Through Faith

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. NIV

It is not faith in faith that saves, but faith in certain things that God's Word reveals that we must believe.

At The LIFEhouse Church, we want to be clear about what we teach. We are unashamed to say that we understand the Bible literally, believe that it is inerrant and infallible and look to it as the basis of what we believe as a church. We believe that what a church teaches is vitally important.
