There are two times in Scripture where Jesus was amazed. Both had to do with faith. One was for the lack of faith by those who were familiar with Jesus and grew up with him in his home town. The other was the faith of a non-Jewish soldier. This man had GREAT faith and Jesus was impressed.
God's agenda throughout the Bible is to call people to place their faith in Him, to trust Him that He can deliver on what He has promised. We all go through storms in life as we live on this sin curse planet. The way we face those storms is determined by where we place our faith.
